Soccer Routes is more than a soccer program. We're a developmental experience designed to help children grow both on and off the field.

Founded in 2014, Soccer Routes specializes in coaching children ages 2–12 through our unique, age-appropriate curriculum. Our approach focuses on four key areas of development: Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Mental.

Unlike programs that take a one-size-fits-all approach, we recognize that every child learns and develops at their own pace. Our coaches meet players where they are, building a strong foundation while encouraging individual progress.

Yes! Soccer Routes offers an intramural league for players ages 5–12 who are ready to put their developing skills into action.

Our league provides an opportunity for players to experience organized games in a familiar, supportive environment while continuing to build their technical abilities, teamwork, and understanding of the game.

Players must be enrolled in our weekend developmental program to be eligible for league participation.

Our league is designed to complement our regular classes, allowing players to apply what they're learning in a game setting.

Soccer Routes offers classes at multiple locations throughout the San Fernando Valley, including Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and the Burbank Foothills.

Soccer Routes does not offer trial or drop-in classes.

Our program is designed around consistent participation and long-term development. We believe a single class cannot fully represent the experience or progress a child will have over an entire season.

Especially for our youngest players, it can take time to become comfortable with a new environment, coach, and routine. That's completely normal and an important part of the learning process.

By enrolling for a full season, families give their children the opportunity to build confidence, establish consistency, and experience meaningful progress.

We understand that joining a new program is a commitment, and we're happy to answer questions about our curriculum and class levels before you register.

Please review our enrollment policies before purchasing, as all registrations are final.

Registration is completed online through our enrollment platform, Sawyer.

Visit our enrollment page to explore available classes and filter by your child's age, location, day, time, or coach.

Once registration and payment are successfully completed, you'll receive an official confirmation email from Sawyer.

Please note that class placement is not guaranteed until registration and payment are complete.

Many of our classes reach capacity quickly, so we encourage families to enroll as soon as their preferred class becomes available.

First, know that this is completely normal, especially for our younger players!

Starting something new can be exciting, overwhelming, or even a little intimidating. Some children jump right in, while others need more time to observe, build trust with their coach, and become comfortable in a new environment.

Our coaches are experienced in helping young players navigate this adjustment period.

We encourage families to remain patient, positive, and consistent. Avoid placing pressure on your child to participate immediately or comparing their progress to other children.

Sometimes, simply showing up each week and becoming familiar with the routine is an important first step.

We ask parents to allow our coaches to guide the experience while offering encouragement and reassurance from the sidelines.

Remember, development is a journey, and every child moves at their own pace.

Consistency and patience often make the biggest difference.

Soccer Routes operates rain or shine!!

Unless you receive an official cancellation notice from our office via email, please plan to attend your regularly scheduled class.

Weather conditions can vary significantly between locations, so decisions are made based on the conditions at each individual field.

Our team monitors weather closely and considers several factors, including field conditions, location rules and player safety.

When necessary your class may be relocated. Relocations can announced as close as 30 minutes before the scheduled session.

If your class is relocated, you will receive an email from Soccer Routes.

Please check your inbox or our social media before leaving for class when weather conditions are uncertain.

While we believe playing in different weather conditions can help children build adaptability and resilience, player safety always comes first.

Soccer Routes reserves the right to relocate or modify sessions when conditions warrant.

We understand that vacations, illness, and unexpected schedule changes happen.

Soccer Routes operates on a fixed seasonal schedule, so we do not offer makeup classes, credits, refunds, or attendance at alternate sessions for missed classes.

Each class has limited availability and is staffed accordingly to maintain appropriate coaching ratios and a consistent learning environment. Our curriculum also builds throughout the season, so regular attendance helps players get the most out of their experience.

If you need to make a permanent schedule change, please contact our office. Transfers may be considered based on availability but are not guaranteed.

Every enrolled player receives a Soccer Routes uniform shirt, which is distributed during their first class.

Our uniform shirt is required at every session. This helps our coaches easily identify players and creates a sense of teamwork and belonging.

We recommend the following:

• Uniform: Soccer Routes shirt, worn visibly during class.

• Bottoms: Comfortable athletic shorts or pants that allow freedom of movement.

• Shoes: Athletic sneakers or soccer cleats. Closed-toe athletic footwear is required.

• Shin guards: Recommended for players ages 5 and older and required for Academy classes.

• Cold weather: Layers may be worn underneath the uniform shirt.

Additional uniform shirts are available for $25, with proceeds supporting our scholarship fund.

Soccer Routes does not offer refunds, partial refunds, credits, or prorated tuition.

When you enroll, you are purchasing a reserved space in a complete seasonal program.

Our class sizes are limited, and staffing and scheduling are planned around confirmed enrollments.

Because of this, all purchases are final, including situations involving missed classes, schedule conflicts, withdrawals, or changes in personal circumstances.

Please review your schedule carefully and familiarize yourself with our policies before completing registration.

Returning Soccer Routes families receive priority enrollment before registration opens to the public. Renewal dates and instructions are sent by email, so we encourage families to check their inbox regularly.

Enrollment is not automatic, and spaces are only secured once registration and payment are complete. If you miss your renewal window, your preferred class may sell out.

We do not maintain a waitlist or hold spaces in sold-out classes. If your preferred class is unavailable, we recommend enrolling in another available class. This allows your child to participate in the current season and gives your family priority enrollment access for the following season.

Class transfers may be considered based on availability but are never guaranteed.

We love seeing families cheer on their young athletes! Our Quiet Sideline Policy encourages positive cheering, applause, and support while leaving coaching and instruction to our professional coaches.

Even well-intentioned directions from the sidelines can confuse young players and distract them from learning. By allowing our coaches to lead, children gain the confidence to make their own decisions, solve problems, and develop independence on the field.

We ask families to avoid calling out instructions, correcting players, or interfering with coaching decisions during classes and games.
